Campus Ministry
At SJA you will find a campus ministry team, who works to create opportunities for spirituality and fellowship. At the forefront of our campus is a chapel where students, parents and faculty can go for a prayer service, worship service, or for a quiet moment with God.
Truly, campus ministry encompasses virtually everything we do at St. Joseph Academy. Whether in the classroom, in the cafeteria, or on the athletic field, the staff at SJA constantly seeks to give students the chance to deepen their faith and share in the Christian mission.
We are very proud of the character and Christian values displayed consistently by our students and faculty. On a daily basis, we are blessed to experience Christ through one another.
Students have the opportunity to celebrate Mass weekly before school. Masses for the student body are celebrated at least once a month during the school day. Students participate at these celebrations as readers, altar servers, music ministers, Eucharistic ministers, and more. Twice a year, students celebrate communal Penance services and have the opportunity to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation. We pray as an entire community to begin and end each day and prayer begins every class period. At these times we pray for special needs brought forward by our students.
