Counseling Department
It is the mission of the St. Joseph Academy School Counseling and College Planning Department to serve the students and parents by providing assistance with academic planning, personal decision-making and career planning. This is accomplished through our School Counselors, Mrs. Carolyn Ziminski and Mrs. Lisa Bishop and Dean of Academics Mrs. Gaylene Hollis.
Mrs. Carolyn Ziminski received her Masters from Jacksonville University and is a licensed mental health counselor.
Mrs. Lisa Bishop received her Masters from The University of Florida and is a licensed mental health counselor.
Mrs. Gaylene Hollis, received her Bachelors and Masters from the University of North Florida.
Mrs. Sharon Ferschke, the Counseling Services Administrative Assistant, completes the department.
The four areas of information emphasized are Academic Counseling, Career and College Counseling, Developmental Counseling and Personal Counseling.
