Mr. Herbert was born in Massachusetts and is a military retiree

who served 20 years in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Herbert joined the St. Joseph Academy family in 1999

as an assistant football coach and

through the years has coached baseball and flag football as well.

In 2002, Mr. Herbert started working part-time at the Academy

maintaining the grounds and in 2006 became a full-time employee

at his current position – maintaining the playing fields for

the Fighting Flashes.
