Fr. Michael
Houle
 |
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Father Michael Houle is a
graduate of Bishop Kenny High School, Class of 1971. Father's
seminary studies were at the Pontifical College Josephinum where
he received a B.A. in Religious Studies and the M.A. in
Divinity.
Ordained in 1979, Father joined the BKHS faculty as teacher and
chair of the Religion Department. He continued his studies at
the University of North Florida earning Master's degrees in
education in the fields of curriculum and
administration/supervision.
Father Houle's varied diocesan assignments include presidency of
two of the four diocesan high schools — his alma mater, Bishop
Kenny High School, since 1989 and St. Joseph Academy, which came
under his leadership in 2000.
