BRIAN LARKIN
 |
Mr. Larkin has been a teacher for the past 22 years and joined
St. Joseph Academy in the fall of 1996. He is a graduate of Bard
College with a degree in History/Economics and he has a Masters
Degree in History from the State University of New York at
Albany. He presently teaches Dual Enrollment American History,
Dual Enrollment Western Civilization, and World History Honors.
He has, in the past, been the Track and Cross Country coach
along with History Club and Chess Club moderator. On a personal
note, at the end of this year, he will be the father of three
St. Joseph Academy graduates.
His interest in teaching began in the New York State Public
school system and continued here at St. Joseph Academy. His time
at the Academy has allowed him to pursue greater integration of
computer technology into his lessons. This allows his students
to familiarize themselves with college level content and work.
It has also allowed students to be more creative and personal
with their classroom presentations. As a teacher and a parent,
his time at St. Joseph Academy has been an interesting and
thoroughly enjoyable one.
