What is the SJA Calendar? It is a calendar, featuring pictures of all our SJA students, our campus and listing the holy days and holidays, so you can use it to keep track of your family’s appointments and commitments. It is also a ticket to win daily prizes!! There are a total of 370 chances to win in 2012! Daily prizes are $25 and on special days there is an additional drawing of $175, for a total of $10,000 in prizes during 2012. Winning tickets go back in the barrel so you can win more than once! Winners are posted on the SJA homepage and checks are mailed to the SJA Calendar winners. The first drawing will take place on January 1, 2012.
The goal of the SJA Calendar is twofold: to involve the entire SJA Community, past and present in our fundraising endeavor and to raise much needed funds for scholarships for the Academy.
How YOU can participate:
1) Become an SJA Calendar sponsor and earn some of your Volunteer Hours at the same time!
Please download the Calendar Ad Sponsor Form for Parents, complete the form and send it in with your artwork and payment to the Development Office BY SEPTEMBER 13, 2011.
2) We will be sending home four (4) SJA Calendars and each family is required to sell or purchase 4 calendars. The cost is $25 per calendar. The SJA Calendar makes a great gift for Birthdays, Christmas and other events. Remember your out of town friends and relatives!

it Works”
v
The
SJA Calendar costs $25.00
v
Your
SJA Calendar is your chance to win cash prizes.
v
A
total of $10,000 in cash prizes will be given away during 2012!
v
There
are 365 chances to win $25.00. Five chances
to win $175.00 in addition to the $25.00 for that day. That’s a total of 370 chances during 2012!!
v
You
can win many times! Your number goes back into the barrel each time you
win!!
v
The
calendar indicates the dollar value of each day’s drawing.
v
The
calendar will feature all St. Joseph Academy students* and our hope is that
families will display it and use it to record important events and
appointments.
v
It
is a great idea for Christmas or birthday gift giving and can be mailed to out
of town relatives, friends and alumni.
v
The
donor must fill out the card in the lower left hand corner on the back of the
calendar with their names, address and telephone number.
v
Checks
should be made payable to St. Joseph
v
Student
must write his/her name in the “Sold By” slot. Detach that card and return it
with the $25.00 donation.
v
Donations
and stubs should be returned in an envelope with the student’s name and number
of donations on the outside of the envelope.
v
Students
must turn in calendar money and stubs to the Front Office by December
9, 2012.
v
NO
STUBS MAY BE RETURNED WITHOUT CHECKS OR CASH.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL CALENDARS MUST BE SOLD BY DECEMBER 9, 2012. EACH FAMILY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SELLING OR PURCHASING

FUNDRAISING CONTRACT.

The Goal: To Earn $25,000 for St. Joseph Academy · All proceeds will go to St. Joseph Academy to cover financial aid scholarships and school improvements. · There are wonderful “Student Incentives” to encourage the students to sell the Calendars. (See reverse.)
