SJA Annual Appeal 2011-2012 Report

What is the Annual Appeal?
The Annual Appeal is the opportunity current parents, past parents, alumni and friends have to make a yearly financial contribution to St. Joseph Academy. Each October we send out letters asking families to donate to our Annual Appeal. The Annual Appeal raises money to help provide financial assistance for our St. Joseph Academy students.
We invite you to remember the many ways in which St. Joseph Academy has contributed to your son’s or daughter’s formation in mind, body and spirit. Then we ask you to prayerfully consider making a gift to the Annual Appeal in thanksgiving for the SJA education experience that has prepared your son(s) or daughter(s), or in the case of Alumni, yourselves, for college and for life.
 
We want you to know that we welcome and appreciate each and every gift, no matter how large or how small. We are extremely grateful for your gifts, your prayers and your presence within our SJA family.
 
How you can Participate
 
We ask all our SJA families to participate in Annual Appeal 2011-2012 in the following ways:

Prayer
1. We ask you to participate through prayer. Please commit to saying the Annual Appeal Prayer regularly, (below) asking God to bless our efforts and open hearts to receive our message and our request for financial participation.
 
Annual Appeal Prayer
God our Father,  we thank You for blessing us with children.
We thank You for the blessing St. Joseph Academy has been to our family.
We thank You for all that we have, for all good things come from You.
Help us to respond generously to this Annual Appeal
So that Your work at St. Joseph Academy may continue
To bless our community and our world.
We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.

Involvement
2. We ask you to participate through involvement in our Annual Appeal telephone outreach to current families, past families, alumni and friends. We ask you to come forward to be Class Captains, Alumni callers (especially our Alumni who are parents of current students), and/or callers of past parents (those of you who have many years at SJA). We ask all our volunteers to commit some time to active participation in our Phonathon.

 
Financial Participation
3. We ask you to prayerfully consider making a gift to the Annual Appeal in thanksgiving for the SJA education experience that has prepared your son or daughter, or in the case of Alumni, yourself, for college and for life.
