Florida. Founded in 1866 by the Sisters of St.
Joseph of St Augustine, it

9% of SENIOR CLASS ACCEPTED TO UF
St. Joseph Academy
congratulates seven SJA Seniors who have gained highly desired and
competitive Freshman acceptance at the University of Florida. Ann Goedert,
Lyndsey Hocker, Chelsea Legris and Stephanie Santiago have been acepted to
begin during the summer semester Keri Hoefer, Henrick Kaczmarczyk and
Voctoria Plowin are all accepted for the Fall term.

BASE BALL UPDATE
Fr. Tim Lozier delivered prayer to the Baseball team on “Senior Day” at
the final home game of the year. St. Joe defeated Hilliard 7-5 to win its
15th game of the regular season.
The Flashes play No. 1 PROVIDENCE at in the District 6-2A semifinals.
Congratulations to the players and coaches!
TENNIS SCORES 
The boys tennis team (Kyle Binninger, Henning Ander, Robert Bianco, Mason
Patrou, Matt Savoia and Colbey DeVane) with Coach Al Restrepo won their
district championships in Gainesville April 9th. Kyle and Henning also
qualified to play in the State Championships in doubles. SJA hosted the men's regionals
playing Bolles.
The girls team (Anne Goedert, Megan Kirker, Allie Runk, Jessica Bianco,
Elena Zambetti and Lauryn Fabrizio) with Coach Becky Sejeck came in second
as district runners-up! Everyone did such a great job. What a good group of
young people!
